The catalogue was planned as a whole — around one hundred subjects, one book each — which is why it is the size it is.

Every title is written to be finished: narrative prose rather than reference-book fragments, with the background, the main events and the consequences of a subject in one book.

E.B Cohen is the publishing identity behind EBCOBook, an independent nonfiction publishing project dedicated to accessible books about history, science, technology, and civilization.

E.B Cohen is the pen name used by Eliran Brami for the EBCOBook publishing project. The same name appears on every cover and in every retailer listing.

How the books are made

The books are produced with an AI-assisted publishing workflow: subjects and plans set by the publisher, research compiled from published sources, drafting assisted by AI tools, review and revision, then formatting into ebook and print files. Selected EBCOBook titles are also available through a range of established ebook retailers and reading platforms, including Apple Books, Barnes & Noble, Kobo, Bookshop.org, Everand, Fable, Smashwords and Tolino, and through hoopla for library lending. Each book page lists the stores that carry it. Naming a platform does not imply that it endorses EBCOBook.
